dorsal holdIn addition to conventional reflexology, which works mainly on the plantar (bottom) aspect of the feet, Cathy is qualified in Vertical Reflexology Therapy (VRT), which works on the top of the feet while the client is standing. She holds a post-graduate qualification in Maternity Reflexology, having undergone extensive training and assessment in this subject.
"When I found Cathy I was feeling tense and stressed out, and in just a couple of sessions I felt the pressure begin to lift. My visits leave me feeling positive and raring to go - the difference I feel in myself has amazed me."
Rachel, Maidenhead

Cathy is a Level 3 (Advanced) practitioner of the Emotional Freedom Technique (also known as 'EFT' and 'tapping'), and is a member of the Association for the Advancement of Meridian and Energy Therapies (AAMET). In addition to these therapies, she is also qualified to practice Australian Bush Flower Essences, Indian Head Massage and Hopi Ear Candling, offering a range of different therapies to meet her clients' needs.
Cathy is fully committed to further developing her knowledge of all the therapies that she practises, and keeps up to date with current developments and techniques by attending regular workshops and seminars.

Cathy feels passionately that Reflexology and other Complementary Therapies have a role to play in today's very stressful and busy world, complementing conventional medicine. For 5 years (until April 2009) she worked as a member of the NHS's award-winning team of volunteer therapists at the Sunrise Cancer Unit in High Wycombe, offering treatments and support to patients and their carers.
"Cathy ... is also a great listener who helped me focus my life and improve my well being. I can't imagine life without her now!"."
