Cathy Ewbank MAR ART(Regd) AAMET IIHHT is a fully qualified and very experienced Reflexologist, having completed a year-long course in 2003. She is a full member of the Association of Reflexologists (MAR), with whom she is fully insured and whose Code of Practice she abides by, and also a member of the ART Register of Advanced Reflexologists following thorough training and assessment by Tony Porter, founder and director of Advanced Reflexology Techniques (ART). She also holds a post-graduate qualification in Maternity Reflexology, having undergone extensive training in this subject. Cathy is also a Level 3 (Advanced) practitioner of the Emotional Freedom Technique (also known as 'EFT' and 'tapping'), and is a member of the Association for the Advancement of Meridian and Energy Therapies (AAMET). In addition to these therapies, she is also qualified to practice Australian Bush Flower Essences, Indian Head Massage and Hopi Ear Candling, offering a range of different therapies to meet her clients' needs.

Cathy is fully committed to further developing her knowledge of all the therapies that she practises, and keeps up to date with current developments and techniques by attending regular workshops and seminars.

Cathy feels passionately that Reflexology and other Complementary Therapies have a role to play in today's very stressful and busy world, complementing conventional medicine. For 5 years (until April 2009) she has worked as a member of the NHS's award-winning team of volunteer therapists at the Sunrise Cancer Unit in High Wycombe, offering treatments to patients and their carers.

Her busy practice serves Maidenhead and its surrounding area : Marlow, Cookham, Windsor, High Wycombe, Slough, Burnham, Taplow, Woodley, Wargrave and Reading - and some clients come from even further afield! Cathy's treatment room is a peaceful and safe place in which you can escape from the pressures of daily life while you have your treatments, and restore your health and inner balance.

Appointments are available from Tuesday to Saturday, with evening appointments available on Wednesday and Thursday.

Cathy offers a service which is aimed at her clients' individual requirements and can offer Reflexology treatments :

In October 2007, Cathy set up the Association of Reflexologists' Area Group for Berkshire - this is a support group for Reflexologists. We meet monthly in Maidenhead, for Guest Speakers, Workshops, Treatment Swops, socialising and support, and all meetings carry CPD points. All Reflexologists (including students) holding a qualification that is recognised by the Reflexology Forum are eligible for membership, please email Cathy or telephone if you would like more information.
